On September 25, 2021, Chaplain (Captain) Emil J. Kapaun finally made it home. It was a long journey, but he is finally home. Chaplain Kapaun was born in Pilsen, Kansas on April 20, 1916. He died a Prisoner of War on May 23, 1951 in Pyoklong, North Korea.
We took the long way to get to Wamego for the September dinner ride. Our destination was the new Mexican restaurant “Viva La Fiesta”.
That place was very colorful. The food was good and it is always a great time when we get together to share a meal.
“Christmas in July” was a great success.
Thank you to everyone that was able to come out. There will be a lot of happy children for Christmas 2021.
It was a beautiful day to be outside.
