Our Daily BreadIn late August, the American Legion Riders group went for a nice Sunday ride to Barnes, Kansas.  This town is small with a population of about 159.

Our destination point for lunch was at a restaurant called “Our Daily Bread” in downtown Barnes.  Where they pride themselves on good homemade food.

It may not look fancy on the outside, but the food is delicious and the desserts are wonderful. This restaurant is definitely worth the drive.

Take a look at the first slideshow to see how the inside of “Our Daily Bread” is decorated.

The first Sunday in September a group of riders rode to Cassody, KS.

One of the stops along the way is to have breakfast at the Saddlerock Café in Council Grove, KS. They have the best homemade bread/toast and breakfast food.

While at the restaurant there was some birthday celebrating to do. Our director, Barry M is having a birthday. (He is the one in the red shirt in the slideshow below)

A great time with good friends.
