We had a great turnout for our 3rd annual “Brown Bag” ride. The ride started from the American Legion Post 17 in Manhattan, KS at 9:30am and for most of us finished up around 3:30pm at the Thunderbird Marina. It was a hot day, but the ride was worth it.
Harold, one of our riders, chose an excellent route through the rolling hills and over two lakes. Check out some of our pictures.
The group stopped right before the Milford dam to eat our lunch “brown bag” and to visit with one another. After we ate some headed home, others decided to head to the marina for a cold drink.
Our next big ride is to Sturgis in South Dakota. There will be 16 riders going to that event. We have become a close group of friends. Our riders range from age 25-75 (maybe even older). Come on a ride with us!
